Anyone excited about Star Wars Episode 1 3D

Great franchise, but not so good beginnings of the Anakin Skywalker story. Anyone excited for The Phantom Menace 3D?

  1. I really don’t think 3D would make much difference. Episode 1 is a decent movie as is.

    1. @ Holly I know I’ll be complaining about Lucas tweaking stuff and kicking and screaming the whole way and will end up enjoying it.

      @ Kevin I think the dogfight scenes in the franchise would benefit from the 3D the most. If you’ve watched Avatar in 3D before, it’s the same company that does the visuals. Can’t complain about the calibre of work that comes out of ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) and the rest of Skywalker Ranch as they did help pioneer modern special fx and sound fx.

    2. On another note, support George Lucas’s last major blockbuster film Red Tails! He dumped $60 million of his own money into the project and took 24 years to see it through! It’s another great coming of age tale and also about human struggle in ww2. He’s retiring from big blockbuster movies and doing personal small movies after this
