Scribblenauts Remix is another fun and fresh puzzle game in the series and improves on the previous two puzzle games that were previously on the DS. If you like puzzle games that involve words to solve problems, this is a great game for you!

The art style doesn’t stray from the familiarity of the previous two with cartoony style sketch drawings and is a welcome sight. It really suits the fun and lighthearted nature of the game itself and enhances the experience.

The dictionary within the game that you use to solve puzzles has been expanded quite a bit and is a welcome improvement. Like Super Scribblenauts on the DS, adjectives make the game much more diverse with the solutions you have. Although the name implies it’s a remix of the original two Scribblenauts games on the DS, it’s a mix of many of the old puzzles on the older games, but it that does not take away from the fun factor. The iOS keyboard is nice and accurate for typing words in. For $5 it’s well worth the investment.

In conclusion, for the money you’re paying, you are getting a quality game for a fraction of the cost. Its a ton of fun for those who like to have something else besides Angry Birds on their iPhone that’s of exceptional quality.

Graphics: 9/10

  1. Wow, Scribblenauts moving over to the iPhone. I do feel that there are some bugs and limitations on the DS games. Does Remix have this issue? Still, fighting God, the Devil, and the Grim Reaper while riding a mechanical dinosaur using a ray gun is cool for a while. Also, the priest is indestructible. Good review.

  2. Having played a good chunk of the original and a bit of Super Scribblenauts, I have to say its a good improvement on the Remix version of the game. Bugs have been filtered out for the most part from what I’ve noticed. There are some new puzzles that come out for Remix once in a while. Quite worth the money if you like this type of game if you own an iOS device.
