Nintendo’s Press Conference at E3 2012 was solid, but by no means did it blow away E3. Hit the jump for a short recap of their presentation.
- Amazon Video, Hulu Plus and Netflix will be available for Wii U
- Pikmin 3 footage shown and Rock Pikmin revealed as a new species. Macroing will be easier with additional resolution on the Wii U
- Wii U will support up to two GamePads at once and will include an on-board stylus
- Some games will feature a 5th player
- GamePad will feature A/B/X/Y face buttons, bumper and trigger buttons, two clickable thumbsticks, a D-pad, NFC reader/writer, TV remote function
- New Super Mario Bros U trailer shown, features a floating yoshi mount and an acorn powerup that gives you a flying squirrel suit and a 5th player can help out with placing blocks in strategic places
- Wii Fit U announced, and will make use of the GamePad and a Fitness Meter
- Scribblenauts Unlimited coming to 3DS and Wii U
- Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition will be tailored to be played on the Wii U
- Other titles coming to Wii U include Darksiders 2, Mas Effect 3, Tank! Tank! Tank!, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Trine 2: Directors Cut
- SiNG is a new music singing game made for the Wii U that puts you in the spotlight
- New Super Mario Bros 2 for 3DS available Aug 19 2012
- Paper Mario: Sticker Star – stickers become powerups and gameplay elements. Will be available this Holiday season alsongside Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
