Nintendo Discontinues Wii In Japan
After a few short weeks of announcing the Wii was no longer being manufactured, Nintendo has announced that the Wii will no longer be sold in Japan. It’s the end of an era after over 100 million units being sold worldwide to date, though the Wii and Wii Mini are still sold in other regions and one can still hunt down leftover stock and the backwards compatible Wii U in Japan.
