Miiverse is now available on the 3DS through a firmware update. You can either link your pre-existing Nintendo Network ID up to your 3DS or create a new one. Accessing the Miiverse community is easy as the icon is found at the top bar in the Home menu. With the newest update, 3DS and Wii U eShop wallets are now shared. The update does a decent job of explaining account unification works, credit card info, Club Nintendo and Mii info when using Miiverse. Some shared screenshots, like A Link Between Worlds are in 3D as well. Nintendo also says that the firmware also removes the limitations on 3DS transfer limit and some minor tweaks like pressing L and R simultaneously to launch the Photo App as to prevent accidental activation. All in all, this 3DS update seems like a good one.
