Well we finally have our GOTY games whittled down to a few categories and here they are!
Role Playing Game – Bioshock Infinite
A good story coupled with several expansions make Bioshock Infinite our RPG of 2014.
Action/Adventure – Danganropa (PSV)
The 2.5D layout definitely made it stick out of the crowd for the action/adventure games.
Racing – Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
It’s another shoe in for a great racing game. It may not have the flashy realism most racing games have, but the reason we’ve chosen Mario Kart 8 as our 2014 racing game is due to the franchise’s lasting and wide appeal. The gameplay is smooth and there are a few new add-ons like Link and Isabelle as new characters.
