Pokémon Go was announced as an Android and iOS game. Developed by Nintendo and Niantic, the game allows players to explore the real world tocatch virtual Pokémon.
Pokémon Go Plus, is a small bluetooth accessory shaped like a teardrop Pokeball on a bracelet that will alert you to nearby Pokémon by lighting up and vibrating. Tsunekazu Ishihara of The Pokémon Company said in a press conference that Pokémon Go has been in development for around two years and the late Satoru Iwata had a hand in working on it.
The game will be available some time in 2016 for iOS and Android and takes place 20 years after Red/Blue/Yellow and will be free-to-play, though there will be in-app purchases you can make. The concept looks pretty awesome, especially for the inner 10 year old boy in me that played the original Red and Blue on GameBoy.
