Even though most of Super Smash Bros’ roster is not as well known, it’s still good to know that Nintendo still has a good foothold among pop culture with their bigger titles. PSA: Wii U Gamecube Adapter Only Compatible With Smash Bros

wiiu-gamecube-adapterIt was originally announced yesterday that the Gamecube Controller adapter for the Wii U would be compatible not just with Super Smash Bros., but with all games that made use of the Wii U Pro Controller. Sadly that is not to be. Nintendo has now cleared up with their official accessory listing that this adapter will only compatible with Smash Bros. It’s definitely a shame that there currently won’t be more support for the Gamecube controller.
