New 3DS Firmware Is Live!

There is a new 3DS firmware available for North American 3DS owners! This update includes a slightly updated eShop and the option of creating folders for all your 3DS items on the main screen! Finally a bit of organization for all of us OCD people! The Mario Kart 7 patch will be available sometime later in May if you’re curious about that.

Pikmin 2 heading to North American Wiis

So it looks like after three years after it’s European release, Pikmin 2 with New Play Controls is headed to North America. i’m guessing this will tide fans over til Pikmin 3 but I’m glad this is finally happening!

DLC: What We May Encounter

If you’ve been looking at the trends of technology recently, you’ll have noticed that DLC (Downloadable Content) has taken off significantly in the past ten years or so, especially thanks to the success of current generation consoles. But there’s a drawback to all this DLC and the need for some games or consoles that rely heavily on the internet. Some of my favourite titles this generation are the Uncharted series, Zelda Skyward Sword, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Arkham Asylum/City, Bioshock and Smash Bros Brawl.
