3DS First North American Ad

This is a great commercial to push the 3D effects that the 3DS has since the large majority of us don’t have 3DTVs. Since the 3DS is coming out in a week, what 3DS games are you most looking forward to?

Nintendo 3DS Could Aid In Identifying Vision Problems

The 3DS now can add another feature to its list. U.S. eye specialists are welcoming the 3DS as a tool to help them catch vision problems like amblyopia (commonly known as “Lazy Eye”) and to help correct these things. This goes against the warning labels that Nintendo has put on the device, which are of course leaning on the side of caution like any other product. Now all thats left is for someone to make an app on the 3DSto compliment the device to help these specialists to diagnose these things.

RIP Microsoft Zune

Microsoft finally decided to pull the plug on their Zune MP3 players and work on Zune integration with WP7. Its been a good run for Microsoft for its standalone MP3 player in an iPod/iPhone dominated MP3 player market. At least the Zune HD is futureproof since there won’t be a Zune HD 2 coming in the foreseeable future unless the line is somehow revived in the future.
