We finally have some video on the interwebs for a demo of 3DS’s e-store. I’m hoping that this will be more successful than the DSiWare, WiiWare and Virtual Console that exist with the DSi and the Wii.

Fitness is a big topic these days and especially within the gaming realm. Nintendo first promoted its Wii Fit line of gaming products as a method of losing weight and being healthy. Nintendo wants to avoid gaming droughts with the 3DS and have a more balanced release schedule. With 8 games slated for release with the 3DS, and a couple more waiting in the hangars to be launched in due time, I think the first 6-12 months will be ok.
This is important because Nintendo does not want to have a drop in momentum with the software and hardware sales on the 3DS, which is definitely a high end handheld gaming device. I’m hoping Nintendo can print those games and assemble this gaming console fast enough to keep up with the demands that the 3DS will have in the coming months.
It looks like the new device that’s coming out from Nintendo later this year will have a 3-8 hour battery life which means that you will need to have an external source of power pretty close by to keep those juices flowing in the 3DS. Continue reading
