We finally have some video on the interwebs for a demo of 3DS’s e-store. I’m hoping that this will be more successful than the DSiWare, WiiWare and Virtual Console that exist with the DSi and the Wii.

Why The Last Story may not be localized
Last Story may not be localized, and if it is it likely won’t be for awhile as Nintendo’s teams are busy with many other projects at the time and the large amount of story and text would take time to edit, translate and or subtitle and or dub into other languages for localization. As a heads up to them from me, do they realize that many gamers these days are fine with the Japanese audio with English subtitles, most who would want this game over here would actually rather they keep the game with Japanese audio, i.e. importers/purists. In other words the people who would want this game anyways.

No More Rock Band Network Tracks for Wii Users
Next week, the last of the Rock Band Network indie packs will cease to be provided for any Wii owners that own Rock Band. It is due to the small install base that this game has so it is not as profitable for them to upkeep the servers.

Super Street Fighter 3DS features online versus
The new Super Street Fighter IV for the 3DS will be online capable for versus mode, like the other versions of this game. With the stance that Nintendo takes on online gaming, which is non-existent, I’m hoping that Capcom will have their own servers for online play Continue reading

Not all 3DS games will be in 3D

3DS Promotes Walking
Fitness is a big topic these days and especially within the gaming realm. Nintendo first promoted its Wii Fit line of gaming products as a method of losing weight and being healthy. Well, now it seems as if the 3DS is also taking a similar route with a built in pedometer that will earn game coins to be allocated to the game of your choice. Continue reading

Nintendo Wants To Have No Game Pauses With 3DS
Nintendo wants to avoid gaming droughts with the 3DS and have a more balanced release schedule. With 8 games slated for release with the 3DS, and a couple more waiting in the hangars to be launched in due time, I think the first 6-12 months will be ok.
This is important because Nintendo does not want to have a drop in momentum with the software and hardware sales on the 3DS, which is definitely a high end handheld gaming device. I’m hoping Nintendo can print those games and assemble this gaming console fast enough to keep up with the demands that the 3DS will have in the coming months.
