Nexus 4 and Nexus 10

Cannot wait for these to be released. The Nexus 4 is a pentaband phone with 4.2 Jelly Bean and wireless charging. The Nexus 10 also runs 4.2 and has the highest pixel density of any tablet available right now. Anyone shopping for a smartphone or tablet definitely have some tough decisions to make.

Google Nexus 7

Woot woot! Looks like the Nexus tablet is available for order. This is probably the best tablet for the money available right now. The 8gb is priced at $209 and comes with a $25 credit for Google Play. It runs Jelly Bean (4.1), uses a 7 inch IPS display, and is quad core! Best of all, it has a battery life rated at 8 hours with active use. Asus is the maker of this tablet and it is rumoured that a 10 inch model will come out later this year. Let the tablet wars begin!

PlayStation 3D Display Bundle $249.99

EB games (GameStop) is selling the PS 3DTV plus an extra pair of glasses and two games (Motorstorm and MLB – meh) for $249.99. Although I really don’t care too much for those games, this is still a pretty decent buy. The TV itself is 1080p with a 240Hz refresh and at 24 inches, it makes for a pretty decent computer monitor (or second monitor). Pretty sweet deal if you are looking for 3D or a new display.

Ivy Bridge Has Arrived!

There has been much speculation on the Ivy Bridge release date. April 23rd was the official announcement date but many had speculated that Intel would hold out on distribution to sell off the Sandy Bridge inventory first. Fortunately, it appears as if many local dealers are already starting to sell the new line of processors (and Sandy Bridge at steep discounts). Dell even has an Ivy Bridge option if you are building a computer there. If you are planning to build a PC in the near future (possibly for Diablo III purposes), now would be the time to do it.
